I monetise GearGuide.Co in various ways…
You’ll notice advertisement banners on GearGuide.Co (if you’re not blocking them). These hardly cover any costs, but every cent helps.
Because some articles take hours to write, I charge a fee for writing reviews.
IF you’d like your product featured on GearGuide.Co, please contact me through the contact page.
I don’t review products for GearGuide.Co. If you have a product you’d like reviewed, get hold of me through Rasp And Rivet.
Most GearGuide.Co articles contain affiliate links, including links from the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca, endless.com, smallparts.com, myhabit.com, and other websites affiliated with Amazon Service LLC Associates Program.
If you click on an affiliate link, it uses tracking code that enables me to earn a small commission on the product you buy through Amazon.
Other sites I use for affiliate links include:
You don’t pay more
Buying through an affiliate link doesn’t push up the price. you pay the same as you would have, had you not used my link. I get a cut of the original price; I don’t add to the original price.
I might use contextual links on GearGuide.Co. Contextual link services such as Viglink injects links into my content automatically. This allows me to concentrate on creating content, while they offer me another stream of income.
Curating content and writing articles take up a lot of time. There’s plenty of behind-the-curtain work going on too.
It’s a full-time job.
And if I’m to keep serving interesting articles, I need to eat and drink coffee. My family too.
